Hello Summer!!!

As we roll into summer we are blessed with plenty of private events and weddings, but there are also several great opportunities to catch us at public events! Celebrate Independence Day in style with us at either Weldon or Hillsville. And get tickets now for the Beats and Beer event in Tarboro.

As always we hope to see you at an event, but if you can’t make one of ours, support our friends and get out to see a band somewhere… any band… anywhere. Live music needs and appreciates your support! Thank you all for the support that you show us!!

Spring?

Spring is just around the corner and it’s still cold as dookey! We’re adding more public shows so be sure to come out and enjoy live music every chance you have. We also have some exciting news to share in the upcoming months!!

Summertime is here!

Summertime is upon us, and that means weddings and festivals! We’re very fortunate to be part of so many people’s wedding celebrations this time of year. We truly love meeting all the happy couples and their families and friends.

There are also some really great public shows this time of year that are family friendly and free! Wednesday June 10 we will be performing at the Wilson Downtown Alive Summer Concert Series! This is a great event that features some of the best bands in the area. Be sure to come out and enjoy the food and drink vendors and support the sponsors who make this series possible.

Also, you have two chances to celebrate our country’s independence with us. Saturday July 4th we head up to Hillsville, Va for our second consecutive year and Sunday July 5th we celebrate with the town of Smithfield!

Goodbyes and Hellos

We would like to announce that earlier this year, Jesse Dirt Stokes decided to leave the band to seek new varieties of pork skins in the mountains of western North Carolina.

We wish Jesse the best and appreciate his years of dedication to the group! We will miss his guitar work as well as his philosophical pontifications.

Jesse-In-Mountains

As a result, we would also like to welcome Jim Ray on guitar! Jim has played with some of the best in the business and can be heard on numerous recordings from his session work with various country superstars!

Jim

Welcome aboard Jim!
